Qina
Packaging Design
Qina is a brand rooted in the spirit of ancestral cultures and natural harmony. While inspired by the richness of Amazonian and Ecuadorian heritage, the brand has no direct affiliation with any specific region and is designed for an international audience. Its current focus is on developing distinctive packaging designs, with the optional inclusion of a logo design.
This design was created as a submission for a packaging design contest organized by Yes, I'm a Designer for a real client. Although it was not selected as the winning entry, it showcases my creative vision and approach to the brief. I completed the original vision under the name Qina, staying true to the spirit of the design and its deep cultural inspiration.
Visual Style
The desired aesthetic is vibrant, tropical, and visually striking, with a strong influence from Amazonian reptiles and their neon-colored scales. Design concepts should incorporate scaly patterns, neon color palettes, and a contemporary font style, creating a modern and energetic shelf presence.
Cultural Influence
Designs are encouraged to reflect visual elements inspired by indigenous cultures from the Ecuadorian Amazon, integrated respectfully and thoughtfully into the overall concept.
